I recently began the novel "Valis" by Philip K. Dick when I saw it on the TV show Lost. The character John Locke gives imprisoned antagonist Ben the novel to pass the time while locked up.
I was delighted to see the cover when I got the book from the library. John Berkey was one of my influences while in my teens...remember his Star Wars art? Especially the insert poster in the original LP soundtrack to Star Wars circa 1977.
