There's a lot of art lessons to be learned from this great shot of a chunk of gold (actually a gold crystal.) I found the image on the Wikipedia photo of the day area a few weeks ago and it's been hanging on my desktop since then. The detail is amazing and is certainly a study for those drawing metal surfaces, weapons, armor, etc.
