Ben Chapman, the 6 foot 5 ex-Marine who played the "Creature" in The Creature from the Black Lagoon, died last week.The movie was great and I can't recommend it enough for parents trying to mold their kids into science fiction and fantasy artists. It certainly worked in my case.
Compare the bottom two pictures...great make-up work, huh? Certainly there are one or two regular readers of this blog who made the Aurora model kit, right?
