Grunewald's Haunting Vision

I've always loved this painting from the first time I saw it in a little thumbnail in an art history book in the '80s. Matthias Grunewald had a great vision and you have to appreciate that we are still looking at and admiring his artwork 500 years after its creation. Unforgettable imagery...hope this inspires you to draw something tonight!

What if the great masters had access to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator?

It would be a scary thing... then again they might throw the computer out the window~

Then we would not have the amazing works to look at now, and they would be lost.
