Key of Pain

What limited success I have had as an illustrator and artist has been due in large part to this illustration, Key of Pain, which first appeared in the science fiction magazine The Leading Edge for the short story Key to Pain.
It won 3rd place in the 65th Annual Connecticut Artists Exhibition, has been accepted in some juried art shows and has been reprinted a few times, including in the Association of Science Fiction Artists (ASFA) quarterly publication.
It will be on view this weekend in Boston at the NESFA science fiction convention, Boskone 46, art show. It will also be available for sale along with prints of the piece. Hope to see you in Boston!

This one really strikes a chord, and I apologize profusely for the pun but it's the only phrase that seems right. Your ability to put an idea, a concept, actually on paper, is amazing.
