Fans of the original series of Star Trek (TOS), like me, are enamored with the episode with Teri Garr and Richard Lansing, Assignment: Earth. I stumbled across some "extended universe" type Trek books, comics, etc. , among them Assignment: Eternity written by Greg Cox. Pick it up and read it if you're a fan of the original episode.
