I
agree with this sentiment...almost everybody draws when they're kids, but at
some point most stop or it morphs into doodlings on your notebook. I
stopped drawing for a long time but started back in earnest at around
age 24 or 25, then took another big break
thinking I would never be doing art again. In 1997 I was inspired I
think by Comet Hale-Bopp's appearance and started creating stipple
drawings of astronomical objects and dinosaur bones which led to me
doing some illustrations for science fiction magazines, webzines and
books, and showing my art at art shows both mainstream and science
fiction oriented.
