The illustration above, "Fatal Error", the namesake of the blog, was accepted into the juried art show The Written Word. Opening reception Thursday April 17, 2008 5:30pm -7:30pm at the Mystic Arts Center. Please come if possible.
The theme of the show was artwork with words forming a central part of the message of the piece. My wife reminded me that Fatal Error may fit the bill as our distressed spaceman is definitely concerned about the words reflected in his faceplate. This has been a good year for me getting into juried art shows with my sci-fi art. Most of the participants are fine artists and stiff competition. Everytime I've gotten in has been a surprise and a pleasure.
